About Me

Personal Photo 1The Story of My Life In Short

I suppose this is where I tell you about myself, huh? In my mind, there isn’t a whole lot to tell. I was born in Waynesboro, PA. (I don’t use that as a password anywhere so I don’t care if you know.) I’m the middle of three kids by one parent and the middle of four by the other. I won’t tell you which is which. I spent my early formative years in various military places in Germany until I was thirteen at which point we moved back to the United States and took up residence in sunny Savannah, GA. Here I have been ever since. End of story, I guess.

Except that doesn’t tell you things like where I went to school and my childhood friends or if I have pets or not. All the kind of minutia info you want on your favorite author. (I am of course your favorite author, right?) I graduated from HS in Savannah. I went to college in Savannah (AASU or ASU or Abercorn High, depending on your era). I have two degrees, BA and MALPS. I work for the post office and a lovely little side job at Escape Savannah. What does this tell you about me? Your guess is as good as mine.

Maybe most importantly, I have been writing for a long time. I was born in the 80’s. I effectively started writing longform fiction in the 90’s. I wrote my first full length novel in 2005 and published (self-published) my first short story collection, Objects: Stories of Things in 2014. My first novel, Chains of Fate, came out in June 2015, followed in close succession by Dark King Rising (Dec. 2015) and Wearing His Ring (Feb. 2016). There is also the short story, October Sky (Dec. 2015), the story of an alchemy student who saves the world.  The worlds of Chains of Fate and Wearing His Ring have spawned series which remain unfinished. Working on that.

In between working on various books, I have also participated in 48 Hour Film Project a couple of times, written plays for 24 Hour Playfest, completed NaNoWriMo on a number of occasions, and acted in various stage and film productions.
